Geri-Ann Ranson Is A Certified Human Resource Professional

Geri-Ann Ranson has more than two decades of experience of working with F500 companies performing in roles such as Project Manager, Portfolio Manager, Survey Administrator and Benefits Change Specialist. She is adept at methodologies, procedures and guidance techniques for organization and people change management. She has comprehensive knowledge of how people go through stages of change and management the impact of the change process. She utilizes her strong analytical and decision making skills to work effectively at all levels within an organization, as well as with individuals in the private sector seeking effective change.

Presently, Geri-Ann Ranson is resident Change Management Specialist and founder of PLANit S.M.A.R.T. Change Management Solutions, Torrance CA. The company works with clients to resolve any resistance to change, designing change models that allow clients to focus on behaviors that produce successful strategic outcomes, rather than repeating past patterns that somehow miss the mark. There, she is tasked with the responsibility of addressing the overall process and value-added benefit of adopting a change management system. She has completed all preliminary class hours and course requirements between 2012-2013 and is confirmed a seat for examination to acquire her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification in Fall ‘2014. This certification is presented by Project Management Institute, the highest recognized industry standard for project and programme managers. She is currently finalizing pre-examination in acquiring dual certifications-Foundation and Practitioner of Managing Successful Programmes – Best Management Practices. Ms. Ranson is on track and scheduled for exams in Spring 2014.

In addition to her professional commitments, Geri-Ann Ranson offers consulting services at a reduced cost to small start-up businesses. She donates time and develops health and behavior change models for women and families with low income backgrounds in need of change, work-life balance, stress or anger management techniques and parenting tools. In her free time, she likes to cook for friends and family events. She loves to sing and karaoke. She is also an avid cyclist, runner and a passionate fitness enthusiast. Geri-Ann Ranson led the initiative of creating industry specific pre-post production action plans as training and management tools for client service and data analyst teams. She was responsible for generating strategies that lead to the successful implementation of change initiatives in survey operations policies and data management work re-designs. She collaborated with sponsors and design teams to integrate new capabilities in alignment with vision established by the organization.
